Overview

There are two main parts to the installation process:

1. Web App installation:
   1. Install the Web App
   2. Deploy and Configure the Database
   3. License the Web App
2. Client Application and gINT User Files
   1. Install client DLL program
   2. Merge gINT library objects
   3. Apply gINT Rules events to the project database
   4. Activate the product license, described in the Datgel Product Licensing System User Guide.

Package contents

Your software purchase may have come with the following:

• ZIP download which normally has the following folders:
  • \gINT Files
  • \Datgel Network License Server
  • \Documentation
  • \Client Installation files
  • \WebApp Installation files
• A USB hardware license key

System Requirements

The network connection between the client PCs and this server should be 1 Gbps or better.

Server

The following must be installed in the target machine:

• Windows Server 2008 or above
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or above
• Google Chrome is recommended.  Problems exist with Mozilla Firefox, and Edge.  Internet Explorer is not recommended.
• Internet Information Service 7.0 or above
• .NET Framework 4.5.2 1 or above

Client machines

The following must be installed in the target machine:

• Windows Server 2008 or above, or Windows Vista or above
• Google Chrome is recommended.  Problems exist with Mozilla Firefox, and Edge.  Internet Explorer is not recommended.
• .NET Framework 4.5.2 1 or above
• gINT Professional Plus version 8.20.800.00 (2/Jul/2010) or newer.
