Consolidate two gINT Files to one
Say you have two or more sets of gINT Files in use within your organisation, and you wish to consolidate this in to one set of gINT Files.
Definitions
gINT Files – Library, Data Template, example project
gINT Files A – better gINT Files you want to use
gINT Files B – the less functional gINT Files you don’t wish to continue using.
Step-by-step guide
General
If the data structure of Data Template A and B are different, then make a Correspondence File using DATA DESIGN | Correspondence File. Then make an field map excel file using the INPUT | Add-Ins > Datgel DGD Tool > Import Correspondence File to Field Map Tool.
Library
Going forward you would use library A. File > Change Library…
If you have reports in Library B, that you want migrate to Library A, then use UTILITIES | Library Merge/Copy, to merge them over.
If the data structure of Data Template B is different to A, then you would need to use DATA DESIGN | Project Database | Tools > Replace Field Names… for the reports you merged. Copy in data from field map excel file.

You need to convert these projects to Data Template A, using UTILITIES | Convert Projects, using the correspondence file described above.
