Register users for gINT Connection Client (Site Administrator)

Effective October 2017, all Bentley users must be registered to access Bentley applications or cloud services from a specific device. Bentley is implementing this policy to keep pace with industry best practices, to enhance security both for Bentley and for our users, and to help deliver a new application capabilities and a new cloud services that are part of your subscription benefits.

Step-by-step guide

The site administrator needs to register all gINT users.

a. Sign in to User Management. - https://ims.bentley.com/usermanagement

If you receive an “Access Denied” message, this means you do not have administrative rights. To complete this process, please have the appropriate contact in your organization sign in to User Management and grant you co-administrative privileges. b. Go to Settings.

c. Under the Domains tab, click the green Add+ button.

d. Enter your organization’s domain in the Add domain field. Check the box below the field to acknowledge claiming the domain you have entered.

e. RECOMMENDED: Check the box to enable the Auto Approve feature. If this feature is not enabled, administrators must manually approve each user. For individual user approvals, go to User Management > Approvals.

f. Click Apply. You have now added your domain.

g. In User Management, click Manage > Add Users.

h. Manually enter the required fields: email address, first name, last name, country.

i. Click Submit.

Install gINT version 10, and it will automatically install the Connect client application login.

Usually it will automatically pop up when you start your PC.
